  • 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon of butter

  • 1/2 cup of chicken broth

  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream

  • 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard

  • 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley

  • 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh thyme

  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon of paprika

How to make Marry Me chicken:

Season the flour with salt and pepper and dredge the chicken in it:

To make Marry Me Chicken, season the flour with salt and pepper and coat the chicken breasts in the flour.

Heat a large skillet:

Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the chicken breasts.

Golden brown both sides of the chicken:

Cook the chicken until it is browned on both sides and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.

Sauté the garlic for one minute or until it's fragrant:

Pour in the chicken stock and deglaze the pan with a wooden spoon, scraping up any bits stuck at the bottom.

Prepare Sauce:

To make the sauce, add the heavy cream and the parmesan cheese to the skillet, simmer for a couple of minutes, then season with the chili flakes and oregano.

In the same skillet, add the chicken broth, heavy cream, Dijon mustard, parsley, thyme, garlic powder, and paprika.

Stir to combine and bring the sauce to a simmer.

Return the chicken to the skillet and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, until the sauce has thickened, and the flavors have melded together.

Serve the Marry Me Chicken hot with your favorite side dishes.
