This is a simple and easy version of the Japanese Style Ramen Bowl recipe I created with minimum ingredients ( ft instant noodles) , but turned out to be delicious. Hope you like it too!
Ingredients:
1 tbsp Olive oil/ vegetable oil
4 chopped garlic cloves
1 tsp chilly oil
2 tsp dark soya sauce
1 tsp tomato ketchup
1/2 cup sliced carrot
1/2 cup mushroom (any variety)
1 cup chopped shallots
1/2 cup spring onion
1/2 Jalapeno/ non spicy green chilli
1 egg
1 pack of instant ramen noodles
Salt (as )
Instructions
Garnish soft boiled egg: Fill a pot with water, add pinch of salt and bring to boil. Once it starts to boil, lower the heat and gently place the egg in the pot. Allow the egg to cook for 6 to 7 minutes for a runny yolk. Once cooled, peel them and slice it into half.
Mushroom : Fry the mushroom seperately until slightly brown.
Ramen Bowl : Heat some oil in a heavy bottomed pan, add the garlic. Saute until brown. Add the onion, and saute until translucent.
Add water as per your taste (whether you like it soupy or dry). Then add the dark soya sauce, tomato ketchup, chilli oil, seasoning and bring to boil on medium to high heat. Once it starts boiling, add the instant noodles packet along with the sliced carrot. Cook the noodles until al dente.
Pour the ramen soup into a round bowl, top it with fried mushrooms, spring onions, jalapeno and soft boiled egg. Enjoy your meal!
